Crossfit, Paleo & Me

Hello!  For those of you that don’t know me I’ll give you a quick introduction! I’m Jessica, 28 years old, living in Marin County (Just north of San Francisco) I’m happily married to my best friend, have a beautiful little boy and 3 of the coolest step sons out there. Plus our 2 dogs, Millie & Marley!

I love crossfit! and this blog is dedicated to my diet & WODs. I recently started the “Biggest Winner” challenge through my gym, which is 8 weeks of Paleo foods and a lot of WODs 🙂 .. I will be tracking everything here for you to follow along with me on my Paleo journey

I started crossfiting in October 2010 and have been hooked since Day 1. When someone finds out that I’m a crossfitter their first question is usually “How much weight have you lost?”  well, I’ve actually gained about 10lbs since October 2010! Although I’ve gone down 2 sizes 😉 Muscle is not an easy thing to gain, and fat is not an easy thing to lose! My diet isn’t usually the greatest, so over the next 8 weeks I’m really going to go above and beyond the effort I normally put into my diet. You’re welcome to come along for the ride
